Full Job Description
You will join our Quality Control team in Pakistan as a Microbiologist Trainee. You will learn and perform routine microbiological and analytical testing, manage samples and keep clear records. You will work closely with lab colleagues, technical leads and quality partners. We value curiosity, attention to detail and a strong willingness to learn. This role offers hands-on lab experience, clear career development and a chance to contribute to work that supports health outcomes and GSK’s mission of uniting science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together. **Responsibilities** * Perform routine microbiological testing of incoming materials, in-process samples and finished products. * Receive, label, store and track samples to maintain chain of custody and sample integrity. * Record test results and maintain clear laboratory notebooks and electronic records using good documentation practices. * Perform Environmental monitoring activities of production facilities! * Prepare media and reagents, assist with basic instrument checks and routine laboratory maintenance. * Follow laboratory procedures, safety rules and regulatory expectations for good laboratory and manufacturing practices. * Support continuous improvement activities and contribute to assigned quality or process projects. **Education, Experience and Skills** * Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology is required for this role. * Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of laboratory experience. * Basic understanding of microbiological techniques and good laboratory practices. * Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Clear written and verbal communication skills in English. * Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) or GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) principles and laboratory documentation. * Experience with laboratory information systems such as LIMS or SAP. * Practical experience with laboratory instrumentation and routine checks. * Strong attention to detail and basic problem-
