What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in science or technical field with 2+ years of work experience in microbiology, sterilization, and/or biocompatibility experience OR Advanced degree in science or technical field with 0+ years of work experience in microbiology, sterilization, and/or biocompatibility experience
Nice to Have
Experience in a cleanroom environment, Knowledge of cleanroom classifications, Experience with Environmental Monitoring, Working knowledge of trending data software, Experience with BET testing, Experience writing cleanroom and other validation protocols and reports, Experience writing cleanroom, microbiology, or other deviation investigations, Experience with writing CAPA plans and effectiveness checks, General understanding working with EO sterilization, CISS certification, AAMI WG, or other external body training certifications, Flexible and open minded regarding daily task requirements and prioritizing projects, Able to work collaboratively and efficiently in both a team environment and individually on specific projects, understanding of Microsoft apps (Excel, Word, etc.)
What You'll Do.
Understand and implement policies for controlled environments
Follow protocols and regulations to clean
Interpret and evaluate analyses
Recommend and implement corrective action
Perform review of microbiology laboratory tests
Ensure product families are appropriately tested
Support internal microbiology lab with analyzing products
and implement controlled environment methods
Develop and implement site contamination control
Apply existing techniques and procedures
Recommend and implement modification for improved efficiency
Devise and develop new analytical methods and techniques
Perform qualitative tests or quantitative assays
Establish requirements for transfer of methodology
Prepare for internal and external audits
Ensure manufacturing areas are compliant
Perform quality walks
Perform periodic assessment of internal processes
Perform corrective and preventative actions
Support manufacturing nonconformances
