Nice to Have
Post-Secondary education within the Food Science related field or equivalent experience is preferred (such as Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biology, Food Science), Experience in aseptic process is a plus
What You'll Do.
Perform micro analytical test of finished products
Collect and test environmental swabs
Test equipment Micro swabs
Maintain hygiene in Micro laboratory
Maintain organization in Micro laboratory
Maintain 5S in Micro laboratory
Monitor lab instruments
Calibrate lab instruments
Monitor plant measuring devices
Calibrate plant measuring devices
Test finished goods shelf life
Analyze finished goods shelf life
Collect samples for external testing
Prepare samples for external testing
Facilitate submission of samples to external laboratory
Report out of specifications
Report nonconforming products
Monitor laboratory supplies inventory
Maintain laboratory supplies inventory
Monitor laboratory materials inventory
Maintain laboratory materials inventory
Perform quality analytical test of raw goods
Perform quality analytical test of finished goods
Conduct CCP monitoring of Aseptic process
Perform evaluation of Package Integrity
Place non-conforming materials on Hold
Place Finished Goods on Hold
Maintain micro records up to date
Maintain quality records up to date
Maintain documents up to date
Act as a back-up for Quality Control Technicians
Perform other duties assigned
