What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, or related discipline), Prior exposure to a manufacturing environment through internships, co-ops, or full-time roles, Working knowledge of root cause analysis methods (5 Why, Fishbone, A3, or equivalent), written and verbal communication, Ability to spend extended time on the shop floor in foundry conditions, Ability to perform light hands-on tooling work

Troubleshoot tooling-related defects
Minimize production scrap
Engineering lead for gating
Support DISA 250C molding line
First line of defense on tooling-driven scrap
Engineering owner for pattern fabrication
Engineering owner for pattern maintenance
Engineering owner for pattern life cycle
Own Pattern Shop preventive maintenance schedule
Support tooling-side execution of foundry modernization
Support tooling capacity planning for North Line
Lead trial pour campaigns for new tooling
Collect data for trial pours
Map defects from trial pours
Generate qualification reports for trial pours
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Partner with Quality Engineering; Coordinate tooling rework with internal patternmakers; Coordinate tooling rework with external suppliers
