Full Job Description
Amazon's Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) organization's mission is to build world-class, general-purpose intelligence services that benefit every Amazon business and humanity. In AGI security, we make sure our AGI services and all applications that rely on them earn and keep our customers' trust. We partner with scientists, AGI builders, and teams across Amazon to ensure our models and GenAI applications are built securely by default. We are looking for an experienced security engineering leader to join the AGI/AI Security Team. As a manager, you will lead security engineers and technical program managers to solve novel security challenges that arise when Amazon builds and deploys Generative AI technologies. You'll help them develop their skills and their careers as you tackle emerging threats like prompt injection, model poisoning, data leakage, and adversarial attacks, while contributing to Amazon's overall security and privacy strategy for AI systems. Key job responsibilities - You will lead the strategic direction and evolution of GenAI Security processes, including setting goals and establishing priorities for securing LLM integrations, prompt engineering workflows, and AI model deployments. - You will set the direction for the team by driving strategic initiatives in AI security, influencing leadership, key stakeholders, and partnering with AI/ML teams throughout Amazon. - You will develop a healthy and collaborative culture and enable the team to deliver results in the rapidly evolving GenAI security landscape. - You will lead effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities, including data science, ML engineering, and product teams. - You will write and deliver high-quality documents for technical and non-technical audiences on complex GenAI security topics.
