Application deadline: Jun 12, 2026 Help shape the future of cloud and AI infrastructure policy in the South, a region covering Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Amazon is looking for a talented, innovative, and experienced individual to represent Amazon Web Services (AWS), the cloud computing business of Amazon, before state and local policymakers and senior government executives in the South region, covering Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. This role on the AWS Public Policy team is focused on supporting our technology infrastructure and operations with critical emphasis on data center infrastructure policy, increasing adoption of cloud computing services throughout the region, and advancing other policy priorities across these states. You will address risks and opportunities for AWS and our customers at the state and local level. This position will achieve goals through a variety of tactics, including direct lobbying, managing consultants, leveraging AWS’s participation in key trade associations, and building coalitions that are critical to advancing AWS’s public policy and business objectives in the state and local government and education sectors. You will become familiar with all aspects of AWS’s businesses, and interface directly with relevant business units and technology and services teams at AWS to develop and execute effective government affairs advocacy strategies to create a policy environment that promotes cloud adoption and infrastructure expansion.
