Achieve Kamtek’s goals and objectives related to Environmental, Health and Safety; Establish and maintain compliance with legislation and Magna standards; Meet all customer, MAFACT and all internal audit requirements; Ensure compliance and continual improvement in all areas of Environmental, Health and Safety programs; Minimize financial impacts of Workers’ Compensation; Meet deadlines for Actionlinx plans for EHS; Reduce identified risks

What You'll Do.

Managing all areas of business related to Environmental

Achieving business goals and objectives

Implementing plans to establish and maintain compliance with legislation and Magna standards

Providing leadership and support to EHS functions

Implementation and maintenance of key management systems that meet all customer

MAFACT and all internal audit requirements

Following and enforcing all plant safety rules and policies

Promoting Magna’s philosophies (Magna Operational Principles

Corporate Constitution and Employee’s Charter)

Following and complying with all operational procedures/policies as stated in the employee Environmental Health and Safety programs (i. e. Magna

Definition and deployment of Kamtek’s Environmental

Health and Safety programs to ensure compliance and continual improvement

Championing planned and unplanned audits and inspections

Coordinating responses of requests from regulatory agencies for information and/or visits

Identifying and addressing opportunities to minimize the financial impacts of Workers’ Compensation

Maintaining Actionlinx plans for EHS and meeting deadlines

Developing and maintaining programs that comply with Environmental regulations

including recordkeeping

reporting and permitting

Assessing internal and external risks and working in partnership with plant leadership to implement strategies

policies and programs to reduce identified risks

Acting as Environmental Management Representative for ISO 14001 and IATF 16949

Promoting good housekeeping (5S)

Performing other duties as required
