What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Minimum of 5 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, or a similar client-facing role within the financial services industry, preferably with a focus on business clients., Proven track record of success in acquiring and managing high-net-worth client relationships and achieving sales targets., Deep understanding of a wide range of investment products, insurance solutions, and wealth planning strategies., Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with sophisticated clients., Analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess client needs and develop appropriate financial solutions., In-depth knowledge of financial markets, economic principles, and regulatory requirements in Malaysia., Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team., Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential.

Nice to Have

A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e. g. , CFP, CFA) is a advantage., Fluency in other languages (e. g. , Mandarin) is an added advantage., Good understanding of UOB products and services is preferred.

What You'll Do.

Developing and managing a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and business clients

Providing comprehensive wealth management solutions

long-term relationships to drive business growth and client satisfaction

and onboard new high-net-worth individual and business clients for wealth management services

Proactively manage and deepen relationships with existing clients

understanding their financial goals and risk appetites

Conduct thorough financial needs analysis and develop tailored wealth management strategies

and legacy planning solutions

Present and articulate complex financial products and services clearly and effectively to clients

Monitor market trends

and regulatory changes to provide informed advice and adapt client strategies

Ensure all client interactions and transactions adhere to regulatory guidelines

and ethical standards

Achieve individual and team sales targets and business growth objectives

Prepare and present regular performance reports and client reviews

Participate in client events and networking activities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads

Team & Collaboration

Collaborate with internal product specialists, investment advisors, and other banking departments to deliver holistic financial solutions.
