What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Accountancy, etc.), Understanding of risks and controls pertaining to Banking, with a focus on financial crime compliance (including fraud risk), regulatory compliance, operational risk management and corporate functions, Good written, verbal communication and presentation skills, Ability to work effectively as a team member, Requisite analytical skills to perform detailed/technical work without losing sight of the ‘big picture’ issues, High level of integrity, drive, and ability to work under pressure
Nice to Have
Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, CIA and/or ACAMS, Minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing or other risk control functions, Data analytics skills (e.g. knowledge of Python, Power BI or other data analytics tool)
What You'll Do.
Support Group Portfolio Leads in audit engagements
and report risks and control deficiencies
Conduct Group-wide audits/reviews
Provide advisory services and ad-hoc reviews
Communicate audit findings and agree on remediation actions
Foster relationships with business stakeholders
Support changes to audit plan
Provide updates on audit progress
Support execution of guest auditor programs
Complete working papers
Review work performed by team members
Promote innovation using advanced data analytics
Apply audit methodology
Support implementation of quality assurance program
Assist in engaging external service providers
