What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience, 7+ years of experience in commercial or multifamily special asset management, credit risk, loan workouts, or distressed asset resolution

Nice to Have

Experience managing non-performing loan portfolios preferred

What You'll Do.

Manage an assigned portfolio of non-performing multifamily loans and special assets

and execute asset resolution strategies

including forbearance

Monitor borrower performance and enforce compliance with loan agreements

Perform financial analysis and risk assessments to inform asset strategy and recovery scenarios

Lead and support negotiations with borrowers

and external stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes

Coordinate closely with internal teams including Legal

Oversee and manage third-party relationships

including special servicers

Identify opportunities to improve recoveries

and reputational risk

Ensure adherence to internal policies

regulatory requirements

and documentation standards

data-driven recommendations and reporting to leadership on asset performance and resolution progress

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

partnering closely with borrowers, sponsors, legal counsel, internal risk partners, and third-party vendors; Coordinate closely with internal teams including Legal, Risk Management, Servicing, Finance, and Asset Operations; Lead and support negotiations with borrowers, sponsors, legal counsel, and external stakeholders

Communication Scope

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting

Process & Methodology

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
