What They're Looking For.
Must Have
U. S. Person status, Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement, at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”, Experience with metrology, Experience building business partner relationships, Willing to travel domestically as needed
Nice to Have
3+ years of experience managing projects, 3+ years of experience in metrology, 3+ years of experience in quality and/or lab management, 3+ years of experience in collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships & proficiency in written and verbal communication, Experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role, Experience working within the international quality standards
What You'll Do.
Lead a team of represented metrology technicians
Provide lab oversight and approval of technical approaches
Respond to production and customer related issues
Lead initiatives to influence cross-functional improvements
Actively manage lab operations using established Safety
Cost and Delivery metrics
Responsible for coaching
mentoring and providing developmental opportunities and job assignments to enhance employee performance and expand capabilities
