What They're Looking For.
Must Have
2+ years experience in the field, Formal military PMEL, TMDE or calibration school training with proof of attendance, U. S. Citizenship Status required
Nice to Have
Previous customer service experience, IndySoft, Fluke Met/Team, Fluke Met/Track, and Met/Cal experience, Proficient using Microsoft technology, including Excel, PMEL, TMDE, or calibration school, Electrical calibration experience, Physical / dimensional calibration experience
What You'll Do.
performing routine calibrations
tests and/or inspections in-lab or on-site using accredited standards
taking care of the day-to-day escalations and priority requests
maintaining traceability and calibration of laboratory standards
performing calibrations
tests and inspections with and/or without automation
setting up advanced test equipment calibration systems
and/or modifying calibration
and/or inspection procedures
calibration and certifying of electronic and physical/dimensional measuring and test equipment to technical specifications
maintaining traceability to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
performing calibration/repairs on equipment
calibrating standards used in calibrations
using all hand tools and sets up and uses standard machine tools
using common laboratory measuring
performing troubleshooting in conjunction with design modification functions involved in production or engineering liaison
providing guidance regarding equipment operation to customers and equipment operators
writing reports and work instructions
assisting customers to define technical requirements to meet their objective
performing work safely
in-compliant to HS&E requirements
taking actions to ensure a safe working environment
maintaining records of test data
assisting in writing test procedures and test evaluation reports
applying advanced skills in area of specialization
serving as Safety Representative for the lab

working in KBR and customer embedded laboratories; performing onsite visits with field service operations and mobile laboratory platforms; working with customers to define technical requirements; providing guidance regarding equipment operation to customers and equipment operators
