What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Optical, or a related technical field, Minimum 0-2+ years of experience in Equipment Maintenance and Repair of relevant Metrology tooling experience within a semiconductor fab, HDD manufacturing, or a similar high-tech environment, Strong, hands-on optical, mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to interpret schematics and assembly diagrams, Understanding of failure mechanisms and ability to conduct root-cause analysis, Effective communication skills and proven ability to collaborate with Maintenance, Manufacturing, Engineering, and cross-functional teams, Knowledge of control systems and/or PLC (Process Logic Control), Project management skills and ability to lead or contribute to cross-functional projects, Flexibility for overtime and weekend work

Nice to Have

Experience on e-Beam and Overlay Metrology systems, Direct experience with X-Ray Fluorescence Systems (XRFs), Optical Metrology & Inspections Systems, Overlay Metrology, e-Beam Metrology Systems, Reflectometry/Ellipsometry/Interferometry systems, Proficiency in data extraction and analysis from structured and unstructured sources, including tool logs, to support preventive maintenance improvements, utilizing AI tools, wherever possible

What You'll Do.

and troubleshooting Metrology Equipment

Preventive maintenance on assigned toolsets

Document maintenance activities

Diagnose and repair unscheduled failures

Lead the continuous improvement initiatives to enhance Equipment Reliability

and minimize Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)

and update preventive maintenance procedures

Develop and support equipment upgrades by evaluating and installing sensors to capture real-time data and integrate with factory systems

Analyze data using advanced statistical and AI tools to diagnose and enhance preventive and predictive maintenance system

Characterize equipment data and collaborate with teams to incorporate it into factory systems

Provide technical training and certification for maintenance personnel

Mentor junior engineers

Work collaboratively with Process Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Vendors, and other cross-functional teams; Collaborate with teams to incorporate equipment data into factory systems; Promote cross-functional collaboration
