What You'll Do.
Complete calibrations of electronic M&TE
Perform planned and unplanned calibrations
Perform troubleshooting
disassembly and repairs
Interpret drawings and procedures
Work from Moog specifications
Work from manufacturer's instructions
Work from Military Specifications
Perform fault isolation diagnosis
Isolate fault to component level
Provide technical expertise
Assist in capability studies
Assist with hydraulic calibrations
Assist with hydraulic repairs
Process M&TE calibrations
Review vendor certifications
Process equipment returned from vendor
Process newly purchased equipment
Support on-site vendor calibrations
Maintain laboratory standards
Coordinate calibration with contracted services
Resolve technical issues with vendors
Escalate technical issues
Undertake appropriate training
Provide recommendations for updating procedures
Complete initial calibration
Establish acceptable standards
Establish acceptable methods
Ensure maintenance of calibration records
Ensure traceability to National Bureau of Standards
Ensure compliance to Military Standards
Review calibration data
Review calibration records
Report out of tolerance conditions
Complete necessary forms
Support internal audits
Support regulatory audits
Support registrar audits

Participate in root cause investigation

You will report to our Quality Assurance Supervisor and will have an onsite work schedule in **Torrance, CA.** Moog’s Military Aircraft Group is a global leader in designing primary and secondary flight control actuation systems (FCAS) for military aircraft. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division plus 7 years or more of related experience in electronic calibration, assembly, repair and/or maintenance or repair of components and/or test systems * Proficient
