What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Meteorology, Geoscience or Atmospheric Science, video editing skills and ability to produce high-quality content, Be proficient at posting content to various websites and social computer literacy required, including weather and newsroom computer systems, Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Nice to Have
At least 1 year of professional meteorology and content production experience preferred, hands-on MSJ experience a plus

deliver accurate forecasts

develop original content to enhance our weather coverage
Research and create engaging weather stories
and user-generated content to drive engagement across all platforms
responding to breaking weather events and delivering live updates as they happen
