Eligibility Requirements

Full-time, permanent position, base at our Higginsville site in Norseman, family friendly roster – 8 days on, 6 days off, flying in and out on Tuesdays, Flexible employment options including FIFO and DIDO, Well-equipped camp featuring ensuite rooms, sports court, and fully equipped gym, pre-employment criteria’s which includes medical and drug and alcohol screening, relevant right to work checks and be able to provide a valid Australian national police clearance and an Australian driver’s licence (or be able to obtain)

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Current “C” Class Manual Western Australian driver’s licence, Tertiary Qualification in Metallurgy or related discipline, Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience in mineral processing, Sound working knowledge of processing plant equipment and processes - crushing, milling, gravity, leaching, tailings and reagent circuits, Experienced in monitoring and optimising plant metallurgical performance, including responsibility for daily metallurgical accounting, Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel), Excellent written and oral communication, Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment, Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable, Excellent communication skills, A can-do, team-oriented attitude, medical and drug and alcohol screening, relevant right to work checks, valid Australian national police clearance, Australian driver’s licence (or be able to obtain)

What You'll Do.

Monitor day-to-day performance of all aspects of the gold processing plant

Conduct metallurgical accounting and reconciliation for gold production

Ensure production and cost targets achieved and adjust key operating parameters

Provide technical support to operations staff

Train and mentor operations staff

Monitor and optimise performance of the MSA and provide feedback to stakeholders

Oversea on-site laboratory operations

Carry out designated metallurgical test work and metallurgical duties in a professional manner

Assist in the preparation and ongoing management of department budgets and forecasts

Establish and execute short term and long-term projects aimed at improving process plant efficiency

Monitoring the availability and usage of critical process reagents and consumables
