What You'll Achieve.
Ensure technical excellence; Ensure commercial performance; Ensure team leadership; Delivery in line with approved margins and forecasts; Maximise opportunities across project portfolio; Ensure all scope changes are properly documented, costed, negotiated, and agreed; Ensure alignment between M&E works and main contractor/client programmes; Implement recovery plans where required; Ensure compliance with scope, programme, quality, and safety requirements; Support repeat business; Ensure risks are actively reviewed and managed; Ensure full compliance with statutory and company requirements; Ensure quality excellence and right-first-time delivery; Ensure effective system integration and validation; Ensure all systems are fully tested, commissioned, and ready for handover; Inform future project delivery and bidding strategies

What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Proven experience delivering complex MEP projects exceeding £20m in value, leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, Excellent commercial acumen and contract management experience, In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations, MEP systems, and construction methodologies, Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities, Willingness to undergo full background checks and security vetting (including NDA clearance) due to the sensitive nature of the project
Nice to Have
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, Chartered status or equivalent professional accreditation, Experience in delivering manufacturing or high-tech facilities is a plus
What You'll Do.
Provide overall leadership
Oversee full project lifecycle
Define and implement delivery strategies
Take ownership of project P&L
Lead monthly Cost Value Reconciliations
and mitigate commercial risks
Oversee variation and change management
Oversee development of contract programmes
Ensure alignment between M&E works
Monitor programme performance
and mentor senior project teams
Ensure appropriate resourcing
Set clear performance expectations
Oversee performance of subcontractors
Define and manage procurement strategies
Act as senior point of contact
Lead high-level progress meetings
and develop client relationships
Maintain oversight of project risk registers
Lead resolution of challenges
Provide visible leadership on Health & Safety
Ensure RAMS are reviewed
Drive a culture of quality excellence
Oversee commissioning strategies
Ensure systems are tested
Manage project close-out
Provide regular reporting
Lead post-project reviews
