Alaro City is a joint venture between Rendeavour, the largest new city and industrial park builder in Africa, and the Lagos State Government. It is one of the fastest growing real estate and urban development projects in Nigeria. It is conceived on 2,000 hectares of land and has areas for offices, logistics and warehousing, homes, schools, healthcare facilities, hotels, entertainment and 150 hectares of parks and open spaces. Located in the North West Quadrant of the Lekki Free Zone, Alaro City is ideally situated on the Lekki-Epe Expressway for ease of transportation to Lagos or towards the rest of Nigeria. They possess a unique drive, underpinned by the desire to help improve Africa’s urban development. **ROLE SUMMARY.** The MEP (MECH) Design Engineer will be a hands-on design professional responsible for the full design lifecycle of mechanical and plumbing systems; from concept design and load calculations through to detailed design, drafting, and the production of construction-ready drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities. This is fundamentally a design role. The successful candidate will personally draft drawings, build and develop Revit models, run sizing of mechanical and plumbing system, produce schematics and single-line diagrams, and prepare technical specifications.
