This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.   Our client is a growing construction-focused company supporting commercial projects across multiple sectors, including schools, hotels, and industrial buildings. They are seeking an MEP Estimator to support project bidding, cost analysis, and estimating efforts for large-scale commercial MEP systems. LOCATION Fully remote | 9 AM - 5 PM EST ROLE OVERVIEW The MEP Estimator will perform take-offs, prepare estimates for commercial MEP systems, and support competitive bids for large-scale construction projects. This role focuses primarily on plumbing and electrical systems while collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate and timely project estimates. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ESTIMATING & TAKE-OFFS - Perform detailed take-offs for commercial MEP systems, primarily plumbing and electrical. - Prepare accurate estimates for projects including schools, hotels, and industrial facilities. - Review construction drawings and specifications to calculate material, labor, and equipment costs. BIDDING & PROPOSAL SUPPORT - Collaborate with project managers to prepare competitive project bids. - Identify potential project risks and include contingencies within estimates. - Ensure timely submission of estimates for project opportunities. SOFTWARE & TOOLS - Utilize estimating and take-off software including Plan Hub, Build Connect, Blue Beam, and Stack. - Maintain organized digital records of estimates, drawings, and project documentation. - Apply software tools to improve estimating accuracy and workflow efficiency.
