Must Have
Master’s Degree in behavioral sciences, such as psychology, psychiatric nursing, occupational therapy, vocational or educational counseling, or social work OR Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or a behavioral science AND three years’ of experience in the direct delivery of professional mental health care.
What You'll Do.
Provide initial screenings and psychiatric diagnostic evaluations for new clients seeking services
Provide mental health case management and counseling/ therapy services for an assigned caseload of clients
Assess patient needs and determine interventions
May assist clients obtain housing and funding as necessary to prevent inappropriate use of crisis services
Facilitate diversion from voluntary and involuntary psychiatric hospitalization when clinically appropriate
Participate in case reviews
Document patient contact in the medical record
Develop and implement patient care plans
Engage in triage services

Team & Collaboration
As part of a multidisciplinary treatment teamwork with patients and their social networks to assist in their recovery from mental illness
