This time, we’re opening something unique: the Mendix Developer Academy — a structured reskilling programme in the maritime domain, based in Bucharest. Why Maritime? Maritime is one of the most technically demanding and least digitised industries in the world. The systems we build have real operational impact — vessel management, fleet intelligence, port operations. Very few developers have experience in this space, which makes it genuinely rare on your CV. How the Programme Works The academy runs for three months, each built around a core milestone: Module 1 — Rapid Developer: Learn Mendix from the ground up. Domain modeling, microflows, pages, navigation, and basic integrations through the official Mendix Academy Rapid Developer path. Module 2 — Intermediate Developer: Go deeper. Advanced logic, security, custom JavaScript and Java actions, performance, and the Mendix Academy Intermediate Developer certification. During Modules 1 and 2, you begin building your own maritime project in parallel. Module 3 — Project & Final Presentation: Complete your Mendix application and present it to the Amdaris, development team. Real deliverable. Real audience.
