SPT Labtech has an exciting opportunity for a MEMS Process Engineer. You will help develop and scale up processes for the fabrication of Cryo-EM consumables leading the revolution in the imaging of 3D structures of biomacromolecules. The position will mostly be based on our site in Melbourn, while occasionally working in our laboratory facility at Cambridge University (and collaborating with our colleagues in Germany). Want to be part of a team that’s truly making a difference? **Key Responsibilities:** * Run and improve wafer fab processes such as thin-film metal deposition, wet etch, electro-forming, and photolithography. * Use and run wafer metrology tools to analyse problems, failures, and other technical issues. * Use good problem solving and communication skills to help solve a wide array of technical product problems. * Develop and oversee processes/controls to ensure delivered products meet commercial quality requirements. * Work closely with the supply chain managers to ensure grid production capacity matches forecast demand. * Work in close collaboration with the development team to balance the demands of development and production on the shared cleanroom resources. * Ensure full compliance with EHSQ standards, cleanroom controls, sanitation, and safety procedures. * Troublesho
