What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Prior experience and knowledge of caring for people with Alzheimer’s or other related dementias required, Must have current First Aid and CPR certification as required by State
Nice to Have
Degree in a related field (nursing, social services, therapeutic recreation) preferred, Certified Dementia Care Practitioner preferred, Specialized certification in Alzheimer’s disease or other related dementias preferred
What You'll Do.
Deliver highest quality care
Manage day-to-day operations
Lead Memory Care services
Supervise Memory Care associates
Schedule Memory Care associates
Manage departmental budget
Perform budget analysis
Provide training and orientation
Partner with Health & Wellness Director
Participate in assessment process
Develop resident care plan
Connect residents to programs
Participate in care plan meetings
Ensure activity development
Facilitate problem-solving approach
Coordinate family involvement
Attend in-service training
Ensure regulatory compliance
Drive Van for local outings
