Must Have
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent, Minimum of 1-year previous experience in customer/member service role, Demonstrated desire to serve others in a friendly and professional manner, Ability to identify and willingness to act upon sales and service opportunities, Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy, Ability to work in fast-paced environment and perform well under pressure, Ability to prioritize using sound judgment to make timely and effective decisions, Knowledge of Access Credit Union’s products and services, Ability to follow standardized policies and procedures, Basic knowledge of risk management within the financial industry, Proficient computer skills
Nice to Have
Business Administration or other post-secondary education, Additional experience and/or development from the Member Services Representative (MSR) position
What You'll Do.
Process over the counter financial services
Balance transactions daily
Resolve routine problems with member accounts
Adhere to security procedures
Meet balancing requirements
Respond to member inquiries
Understand member financial situation
Maintain knowledge of policies
Differentiate credit union and competitor products
Communicate product and service information
Utilize fact finding questions
Cross-sell credit union products
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products
Maintain open communication with staff
Work collaboratively with team members
Actively participate in meetings
Look for referral opportunities
Seek out new business opportunities
Retain and expand existing member relationships
Act as ambassador for credit union
