What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum two years' experience as a Teller, new accounts or service representative in a financial institution, High school diploma or equivalent required
Nice to Have
Equivalent experience in a sales/service position in a retail establishment may be considered, Demonstrated proficiency at STCU in a similar role may also be considered
What You'll Do.
Creates unparalleled in-person experiences for existing and prospective consumer members
Conducts interactive and collaborative interviews at new member origination
subsequent account maintenance and transactional requests
Identifies opportunities to expand existing relationships
Positions STCU as a first-choice market leader and the primary financial institution
Protects the integrity and confidentiality of our membership by identifying members/account ownership
Performs transactional duties to serve members with high accuracy in accordance with credit union policies and procedures
Adheres to STCU’s balancing standards and proper dual control
Originates and expands member relationships by conducting an in-depth and personalized review of the members financial position
Recommends product and services that meet the members financial goals
Creates unparalleled member experiences and excellence with every interaction
Takes ownership of issues and challenges
Delivers on our Here for Good brand promise
Demonstrates competency and an in-depth knowledge of all consumer
fiduciary deposit products
services and systems and accounts types including checking
CD's and IRA's and lending products to open and conduct required account maintenance
Meets or exceeds monthly branch goals including the promotion of ancillary products and submitting partner referrals
Answers member questions and finds appropriate resolutions for a variety of complex or technical issues
Identifies best match products and services that fulfill unstated needs and deepen the member relationship
Develops and maintains and productive working relationships at all levels of the organization
May process cash transactions based on the needs of the location
Performs additional duties as assigned for the efficient operation of the department and the organization
May be assigned temporarily to other locations
