About Redwood Materials Redwood is localizing a global battery supply chain that seamlessly integrates recovery, reuse, and recycling — keeping critical minerals in circulation and driving the energy transition. Founded in 2017, we’re delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U. S. for the first time, all from batteries we already have. Medium Voltage Electrician, Facilities Redwood Materials is looking for a motivated and accomplished Journeyman Electrician to join the facilities operations team to work in all areas of industrial electrical maintenance and operations. This will include our substation and medium voltage distribution system.  Skills in all areas of electrical are not necessarily required, but the job can and will involve a variety of electrical sub-disciplines and a strong candidate will be able to perform a variety of electrical tasks from substation maintenance and operation, power distribution switching, lighting and control panel upgrades to low voltage controls troubleshooting and repair. Responsibilities will include: Working as a team member with the entire facilities organization, as well as all other organizations within Redwood Materials. Operating various MV (up to 34.5kV) substation apparatus and distribution equipment. Maintaining and troubleshooting various types of electrical systems, equipment, and components. Reading and understanding electrical schematics and blueprints in order to maintain, operate, and repair electrical systems of varying power levels.
