What They're Looking For.
Must Have
MSc or PhD degree in a medical- or mathematics-related field such as biology, epidemiology, pharmacology, health economics, or statistics, Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a medical/scientific writer, attention to detail, written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, multitasking capabilities, Ability to work independently, Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, Ability to effectively interact and communicate with peers, senior management, and clients, Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a sometimes high-pressure environment, Ability to adapt to shifting internal and client-related priorities/timelines, Technically competent with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Nice to Have
Proficiency with EndNote is an asset
What You'll Do.
Liaise with project stakeholders
Conduct structured or systematic searches of medical literature
and synthesize medical literature
Develop drafts of publications (eg
Develop draft reports (eg
technical) and slide decks
Liaise with key opinion leaders (eg
and format draft documents
Perform quality assurance on written materials
Develop drafts of product dossiers
marketing and sales materials
and objection handlers
Provide copyediting and formatting support on final documents
Support preparation of slides for project-related meetings/calls
participate in and possibly lead project meetings
Support preparation of written client communications
May supervise and/or train junior staff
help set project scope
