It also operates 16 MediCard free-standing clinics that provide services at par with those offered by hospitals minus the confinement. **MediCard** is currently looking for assertive, dynamic and energetic individuals to fill up the following vacancy: Responsible in performing laboratory tests/procedures and encodes them correctly and accordingly. Delivers precise and accurate as well as on-time laboratory results to the patients. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES · Performs blood extraction to patients as part of PME packages or as per doctor’s request. · Properly checks patient’s identification, the laboratory request and the specimen sample. · Issues approval to laboratory request as appropriate based on our approval guidelines prior to availment. · Conducts on-site blood extraction, Drug Testing and Rapid Antibody Testing per assignment by the Supervisor. · Proper and accurate encoding of laboratory results. · Monitors and ensures that laboratory equipment/machines undergo preventive maintenance and calibration as scheduled. · Maintains and performs regular inspection on all laboratory machines/equipment. · Ensures and monitors sufficient inventory of supplies. · Prepares and submits timely reports. · Maybe assigned related tasks from time to time.
