Coordinates and supports medical staff meetings. **Job Responsibilities and Requirements:** PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES * Assists medical staff with development of bylaws and related procedures. Develops credentialing criteria, privilege delineations, and documents necessary to support an effective credentialing process. * Develops and maintains yearly calendar of medical staff meetings and special events. Coordinates agenda, packets, minutes, and follow-up for meetings. * Complies with the Joint Commission and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services requirements for medical staff and participates in the continual survey readiness process and regulatory review of credential files. * Orients medical staff leadership to key policies related to their roles. Orients new medical staff members to the medical staff bylaws, key policies, medical staff structure and performance improvement process. * Administers all credentialing, reappointment, and privileging processes in accordance with medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations, Joint Commission standards, and state and federal law. * Prepares credentialing reports and action items for t
