Advanced post-graduate scientific degree (MD, PhD, or PharmD), Proven ability to explain and present complex scientific data clearly to clinical audiences, interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally, Knowledge of the Canadian healthcare environment, Valid Canadian driver’s licence, Ability to work independently, manage priorities, meet objectives in a field-based role

Nice to Have

2+ years of prior experience as a Medical Science Liaison or similar medical affairs role, oncology or solid tumors, Established network and relationships with oncology clinicians in Canada, Experience supporting clinical trials, investigator-initiated studies, real-world evidence projects, Familiarity with Canadian reimbursement and access processes, Bilingual capability in English and French, presentation skills, facilitation skills, stakeholder engagement skills

What You'll Do.

Build and maintain peer-to-peer scientific relationships

Act as the field-based scientific expert

staying current on solid tumor biology

Gather and report clinical and practice insights

Support clinical development

identifying and qualifying potential investigators

Represent GSK at scientific meetings

Deliver scientific training to internal colleagues
