What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Advanced clinical degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, DO, or equivalent), 5 to 10 years MSL experience, Working knowledge of FDA, OIG, PhRMA Code, ACCME, and MLR review processes, Excellent written and verbal scientific communication skills, Self-directed execution and ability to operate independently
Nice to Have
Experience in rare disease, cell/gene therapy, pediatrics, neuromuscular disease, or cardiology, Existing relationships across DMD treatment center network, neuromuscular community, or pediatric cardiology community, Prior launch experience in rare disease, cell/gene therapy, pediatrics, rare cardiology or neuromuscular disease, Experience operating in a pre-commercial or early-commercial company

Develop and execute territory KOL/HCP engagement plan
and prioritize thought leaders
Deliver scientific presentations on Deramiocel clinical data
Engage in scientific exchange with KOLs and HCPs
Support advisory boards and scientific symposia
Support KOL-led research initiatives
Identify and support investigator-initiated studies
Support real-world evidence opportunities
Provide scientific support for medical congresses
Collect and synthesize field insights
Translate insights into recommendations for medical strategy
Provide scientific training and support to internal stakeholders
Maintain comprehensive scientific fluency on Deramiocel clinical data
Ensure timely reporting of adverse events
Ensure timely reporting of product complaints
Document field activities in Capricor's medical CRM
Ensure all activities follow compliance standards

## Description Capricor Therapeutics (NASDAQ: CAPR) is a biotechnology company dedicated to advancing transformative cell and exosome-based therapies for rare diseases. At the forefront of our innovation is Deramiocel (CAP-1002), our lead cell therapy in late-stage development for Duchenne muscular dystrophy. We are also harnessing our proprietary StealthX™ exosome platform to unlock new possibilities in targeted delivery and vaccinology. Every program reflects our commitment to pushing the boundaries of science and delivering life-changing treatments to patients and families who need them most. The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Director is a field-based scientific leader responsible for delivering Capricor's scientific engagement strategy across an assigned territory of national and regional KOLs treating Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) and DMD cardiomyopathy. The role focuses on scientific exchange with thought leaders, treatment centers, and academic institutions in neuromuscular disease, cardiology, and pediatric specialty care; identification of clinical and research opportunities; and translation of field insights into Capricor's medical strategy for Deramiocel. This individual partners closely with the Medical Director, VP Medical Affairs, HEOR / RWE, Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Development, and the broader U.S. MSL team. ## Responsibilities • Develop and execute the territory KOL/HCP engagement plan, including identification, mapping, and prioritization of thought leaders, prescribers and treatment centers.• Deliver scientific presentations and engage in scientific exchange with KOLs and HCPs on Deramiocel clinical data, the DMD cardiomyopathy landscape, and emerging evidence.• Support advisory boards, scientific symposia, and KOL-led research initiatives.• Identify and support investigator-initiated studies (IIS) and real-world evidence opportunities in coordination with HEOR / RWE and Medical Director.• Provide scientific support for medical congresses,
