regularly travels between all locations in Kansas City (St. Luke's Plaza, Independence, North KC, St. Joseph) and Leawood, KS, comfortable with local travel, work over 40 hours to meet the needs of the business, Reliable transportation that would allow employee to go to multiple work locations with minimal notice, frequent walking (75%), sitting (50%), standing (50%), regular bending, stooping, and reaching (25–50%), lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 25 lbs, fine motor skills and full use of hands are essential, constant grasping, writing/typing, and use of technology, Visual and auditory acuity—including color, depth, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus—is required 100% of the time, Occasional driving or climbing may also be necessary

What You'll Do.

act as the first point of contact for our patients

perform the necessary administrative responsibilities needed to create a smooth check-in/out experience for patients

Greet patients and check them in/out for their appointments

Verify medical and vision insurances

Effectively communicate with patients

Answer inquiries through phone

and in-person requests

Provide exceptional customer service in every interaction

Answer phones (both external and internal); assure prompt

courteous service at all times

Practice urgency at all times with patients’ time

as well as Doctor’s time and schedule

Manage patient flow in the office

Knowledge of common fees charged for common visits and collect correct payments

Complete daily reconciliations / close day / countdown cash drawer

General office duties and cleaning to be assigned by manager
