Bachelor's Degree, ASCP - American Society for Clinical Pathology - American Society for Clinical Pathology, Registered by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, AMT Certification is considered equivalent to ASCP, Completion of all required course work for Bachelor’s degree and completion of ASCP Certification, Experience in an automated clinical laboratory

Position utilizes automation and computerization, and manual methods. Responsible for quality control and instrument operation, maintenance and troubleshooting. May be involved in teaching and training, but not in a leadership position. Position handles blood, tissue, fecal matter, sputum, urine, spinal fluid and other body fluids. Specimens may be contaminated with infectious diseases including HIV and other blood borne pathogens. **Responsibilities And Duties:** 1\. 55% Uses critical thinking, academic theory, facilitation and leadership abilities, and advanced customer service skills.
