Must Have
High school diploma or equivalent, Medical technician training, Vision screening training, 1 year venipuncture experience, Computer literate, Bilingual Bengali, Certified Phlebotomist, EKG certification
Nice to Have
Venipuncture experience with elderly
What You'll Do.
Perform routine medical assistant functions
Take and document vital signs
Draw blood and collect specimens
Identify specimens correctly
Match request form with specimen
Refrigerate specimens
Order laboratory tests
Inform physician of canceled tests
Schedule home draw labs
Obtain applicable reports
Track lab supply inventory
Stock examination offices
Perform routine tests
Provide services according to safety procedures
Maintain confidentiality of participant information
Transport participants via wheelchair
Accompany ambulatory patients
Transfer participants
Offer assistance during transfers
Assist participants with toileting
Assist participants with ADL care
Assist MD as requested
Assist with customer issues
Assist with customer grievances
Coordinate follow-up visits
Coordinate transportation for participants
Provide Front Desk coverage
Perform other related duties
