Must Have
High School Graduate/GED / Equivalent Work or Vocational / Technical School / Diploma, 0-1 year related work experience, Medical Assistant certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) or within 30 days of hire, Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks in a timely manner, Basic proficiency in computer use, Ability to commute to satellite offices as needed

What You'll Do.
Prepare examination room
Escort patient into room
Clean examination room
Maintain efficient patient flow
Ensure proper preparation for patient visits
Prepare pertinent information for patient visits
Communicate & provide care consistent with patient needs
Answer telephone appropriately
Direct calls and/or take accurate messages
Schedule appointments accurately and appropriately
Stock examination rooms with supplies
Assist in ordering and maintaining supplies
Reconcile encounters daily and accurately
or issues to Supervisor/Manager
Perform within the scope of practice
Obtain vital signs accurately and completely
Document vital signs appropriately in EHR
Review and update medication list
Document new allergies in EHR
Demonstrate understanding of prescription control and refill procedures
Employ appropriate and timely use of Tasking in
Enter orders and schedule appointments in PMS and
Provide referrals and/or consult orders appropriately in PMS
Adhere to universal safety precautions when administering medications
Adhere to universal safety precautions for disposal of
Maintain proficiency with department specific equipment
Troubleshoot department specific equipment
Report equipment malfunctions promptly
Facilitate transition of care to UCC/Hospital
Recognize and perform duties not directly assigned
Provide scribing services
