1 year of experience in the role of medical assistant, patient care tech or equivalent or have completed Medical Assistant Externship at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Completion of a medical assistant training program from an accredited school or emergency medical technician or hospital or physician office-based training as a patient care technician or equivalent, Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment, Initial competencies as defined by department must be completed within 3 months of employment, Must be able to successfully pass the Basic Windows Skill Assessment at 80% or higher rating within 30 days of employment
