**Hourly Pay Range:** $19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. **Medical Assistant (MA) - Primary Care OB** **Position Highlights:** * Position: Medical Assistant * Location: Vernon Hills, IL * Full Time/Part Time: Full Time * Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am – 6:30pm with rotating Saturdays between 8am – 12pm * Required Travel: Travel to other sites based upon department needs **What you will do:** * Greet patients and escort them to exam room * Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit * Provide front office support as needed * Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight * Phlebotomy and injections may be required **What you will need:** * Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required * Certification: CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not required. * Experience: One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred.
