What You'll Do.

Adhere to Medical Assistant scope of practice

Follow policies and procedures

Maintain training and competency

Perform rooming/visit tasks

Perform medication reconciliation

Record medical history

Perform health maintenance

Perform allergy review

Assist provider with procedures

Perform procedures as ordered

Perform lab related duties

Collect and label specimens

Prepare lab orders/requisitions

Complete CLIA waived tests

Perform diagnostic testing

Administer medications and vaccines safely

Process medication refills

Process insurance authorizations

Complete safety/regulatory logs

Send patient messages

Order medication/supplies

Schedule appointments

Maintain clean work environment

Clean instruments and equipment

Ensure equipment and supplies are in working order

Assist with training teammates

Onboard new teammates

Serve as role champion

Provide age-appropriate care
