Must Have

High School Diploma or equivalent, required., Graduated from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program, required., 0-1 year related work experience, required., Basic Life Support (BLS) or within 30 days of hire, required., Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, required., Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks in a timely manner, required., Basic proficiency in computer use, required., Ability to commute to satellite offices as needed, required.

Nice to Have

2-4 years related work experience, preferred.

What You'll Do.

PA or NP with clerical duties

PA or NP with patient flow

PA or NP with patient care

PA or NP with procedures

Prepare the examination room

Escort patient into the room

Clean examination room

Maintain efficient patient flow

Ensure proper preparation for patient visit

Prepare pertinent information for patient visit

Communicate & provide care consistent with patient needs

Take accurate messages

Schedule appointments accurately

Stock examination rooms with supplies

Assist in ordering supplies

Reconcile encounters daily

concerns or issues to Supervisor/Manager

Perform within scope of practice

Document vital signs in EHR

Review medication list

Update medication list

Document known allergies in EHR

Demonstrate understanding of prescription control

Demonstrate understanding of prescription refill procedures

Enter orders in PMS and EHR

Schedule appointments in PMS and EHR

Provide referrals in PMS and EHR

Provide consult orders in PMS and EHR

Adhere to universal safety precautions

Administer medications

Dispose of medical waste

Maintain proficiency with department specific equipment

Troubleshoot department specific equipment

Report malfunctions of department specific equipment

Facilitate transition of care to UCC/Hospital

Demonstrate flexibility with work schedules

Perform duties which need to be performed although not directly assigned

Provide scribing services
