What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Certified Medical Assistant or eligible within 90 days, Phlebotomy experience required, Current BLS certification for healthcare providers required within 90 days, High School Diploma/Equivalency required
Nice to Have
1 year of experience preferred, Experience in primary care, family practice, internal medicine, urgent care or ER preferred
What You'll Do.
Provide patient support and communication
Facilitate exceptional patient experience
Welcome and prepare patients for appointments
Inform patients of relevant information for visit
Provide clear communication around services
Perform point-of-care laboratory tests
Perform suture/staple removal
Perform dressing changes
Collect and document vital signs
Collect and document histories
Collect and document screenings
Authorize prescription refills
and supplies for visits
Process specimens correctly
Clean and maintain treatment rooms
Perform quality controls
Perform equipment checks
Participate in brand marketing
Increase patient volume
Prepare and administer PO medications
Prepare and administer IM medications
Prepare and administer ID medications
Provide instruction to patient regarding medications
Provide instruction to patient regarding diet
