Must Have
High school diploma or certification as a Medical Assistant, Proven experience as a Medical Assistant, Knowledge of medical terminology, Ability to handle sensitive information, Basic proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
Nice to Have
Medical Assistant certification preferred, Experience in a clinical setting, Knowledge of practices relevant to dermatology, Excellent organizational skills, Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
What You'll Do.
Prepare patients for examination
Record medical history
Assist the physician during examinations
Assist the physician during procedures
Ensure all necessary instruments are available
Perform basic laboratory tests
Prepare specimens for laboratory analysis
Maintain patient records
Ensure accuracy and confidentiality
Schedule patient appointments
Manage office communications
Educate patients on treatment plans
Educate patients on medications
Educate patients on proper skincare practices
Ensure examination rooms are clean
Ensure examination rooms are organized
Ensure examination rooms are fully stocked
Support clinic's social media presence
Gather content for social media
Share clinic-approved updates
Assist with community engagement efforts
