MA Diploma (Accredited MA School), BLS Provider (In Person, Banner Approved), Active Medical Assistant Certification, Completion of an approved medical assistant training program, High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
Nice to Have
MA National Certification from AAMA, AMT, NCCT or NHA, Experience with office medical procedures and treatments, Knowledge of insurance, managed care operations, EMR and scheduling software, Additional related education and/or experience
What You'll Do.
Administer injections
Call patients with results
Perform heavy admin duties
Assist provider with procedures
Complete prior authorizations
Obtain patient medical records
Prepare patient for exam
Report patient condition changes
Assist providers with exams
Assist with minor in-office procedures

Document heart rate/pulse

Job Duties: MA responsible in the following but limited to; rooming patients, monitoring schedule, Injections, calling patients with results or other needs, intake of vitals, heavy admin duties as assigned, work with provider in procedures and procedure set ups. Work as a team with all back office members. MA will also need to complete referrals, prior authorizations, and assist in obtaining patient medical records.
