What You'll Do.

Maintain efficient patient flow.
Ensure proper preparation for patient visit.
Prepare pertinent information for patient visit.
Communicate & provide care consistent with patient needs.
Answer telephone appropriately.
Direct calls and/or take accurate messages.
Schedule appointments accurately.
Stock examination rooms with supplies.
Assist in ordering and maintaining supplies.
Reconcile encounters daily and accurately.

Perform within scope of practice.
Obtain vital signs accurately and completely.
Document vital signs in EHR.
Review and update medication list.
Document known allergies in EHR.
Demonstrate understanding of prescription control and refill procedures.
Appropriately enter orders and schedule appointments in PMS and EHR.
Provide referrals and/or consult orders appropriately.
Adhere to universal safety precautions.
Maintain proficiency with department specific equipment.
Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions.
Facilitate transition of care to UCC/Hospital.
Demonstrate flexibility with work schedules.
Recognize and perform duties not directly assigned.
Provide scribing services.
