Must Have
Certified Medical Assistant or eligible within 90 days of hire, High School Diploma/Equivalency required, Current BLS certification for healthcare providers required within 90 days of employment
Nice to Have
1 year of experience preferred, Phlebotomy experience required, Experience in primary care, family practice, internal medicine, urgent care or ER preferred
What You'll Do.
Providing patient support and communication
Facilitating an exceptional patient experience
Welcoming and preparing the patient for their appointment
Informing patients of relevant and required information for their visit
Providing clear communication around the services they are scheduled to receive
Performs point-of-care laboratory tests
Performs EKGs as ordered or indicated
Performs suture/staple removal
Performs dressing changes
Performs other patient care activities
Collects and documents vital signs
Authorizes prescription refills as directed
and supplies for visits or examinations
Performs phlebotomy and correctly processes specimens
Cleans and maintains treatment rooms and equipment
Performs quality controls and equipment checks
Participates in brand marketing
rotating throughout the vestibule
with a focus on engaging and increasing patient volume
Prepares and administers PO
and ID medications as directed by the Provider
Provides instruction to the patient regarding medications and diet
