Must Have
Certified Medical Assistant or eligible within 90 days of hire, High School Diploma/Equivalency required, Phlebotomy experience required, Current BLS certification for healthcare providers required within 90 days of employment
Nice to Have
1 year of experience preferred, Experience in primary care, family practice, internal medicine, urgent care or ER preferred
What You'll Do.
Providing patient support and communication
Facilitating an exceptional patient experience
Welcoming and preparing the patient for their appointment
Informing patients of relevant and required information for their visit
Providing clear communication around the services they are scheduled to receive
Performing point-of-care laboratory tests
Performing EKGs as ordered or indicated
Performing suture/staple removal
Performing dressing changes
Collecting and documenting vital signs
Authorizing prescription refills as directed
and supplies for visits or examinations
Performing phlebotomy and correctly processing specimens
Cleaning and maintaining treatment rooms and equipment
Performing quality controls and equipment checks
Participating in brand marketing
Preparing and administering PO
Providing instruction to the patient regarding medications and diet
