What You'll Do.
Assist in examination of patients
Assist in treatment of patients
Manage check-in process
Manage registration process
Record information on patient charts
Draw blood samples from patients
Collect blood samples
Prepare specimens for laboratory analysis
Prepare treatment rooms for examination
Conduct patient registration
Secure required paperwork
Secure insurance documentation
Verify patient eligibility
Schedule patient appointments
Coordinate provider referrals
Answer patient questions regarding care
Inform technical staff of patient flow

We would love for you to become a member of our team!** **The Medical Assistant assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of an urgent care provider. Manages the check-in and registration process, interview patients, measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records information on patients ' charts. May be required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
