Our environment is filled with hard-working, dynamic individuals who come together to ensure the success of our partner dermatologists. * Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain medical histories * Prepare patients for examinations and procedures * Assist physicians during in-office surgeries, excisions, biopsies, and cosmetic treatments * Support patients with medication instructions and guidance * Act as a scribe for the provider during visits * Work one-on-one with dermatologists and physician assistants * Receive comprehensive in-office training * Learn to use our electronic medical record (EMR) system * Gain additional support through our custom MA training manual ## Qualifications Job Type: * Full-time In-Person (32-36 hours/week) 4 days a week (3-day weekend) * 3 days in Lansdowne * 1 day in Aldie Experience: * Prior medical assisting experience is strongly preferred * Completion of a medical assistant training program is helpful, but not required * Previous clinical experience with direct patient contact is preferred * Background in other healthcare roles is also valued * Excellent opportunity for Pre-MD or Pre-PA candidates looking for hands-on experience Education: * High school diploma or equivalent Certifications/Licenses: * Medical Assisting Certification is preferred Salary * Starts at $18.00 hourly and increases with years of experience ## Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
