What You'll Do.
Assist in examination and treatment
Manage check-in and registration
Record patient information
Draw and collect blood samples
Prepare specimens for laboratory analysis
Prepare treatment rooms
Conduct patient registration
Secure required paperwork
Verify insurance and patient eligibility
Schedule patient appointments
Coordinate provider referrals
Answer patient questions
Inform technical staff of patient flow
Prepare patients for examination
Conduct preliminary physical tests
Escalate critical cases to provider
Conduct point of care testing
Provide patient information to provider
Complete order sheets
Maintain supply inventory
Check expiration dates on supplies
Maintain medical records
Scan charts to patient files
Collect and sort postal correspondence
Ensure reception is well maintained
Conduct courtesy call-backs
Perform opening and closing duties
Perform daily controls and calibration
Maintain Quality Assurance/Quality Control logs
Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns
Perform preventive maintenance
Submit repair tickets
