Through collaboration with Community Health Network, we provide convenient access to care while fostering a culture built on compassion, innovation, and accountability. ### Position Summary As a **Medical Assistant** , you’ll play a key role in supporting our providers, radiologic technologists, and patients. This is a fast-paced, patient-facing position where you’ll help ensure an efficient and positive care experience—from check-in through discharge. We’re looking for someone who is organized, service-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative team environment. ### What You’ll Do * Register patients and verify insurance and eligibility * Room patients and prepare them for examination * Record medical history and vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, etc.) * Perform point-of-care testing (e.g., flu, strep, urinalysis, ECG) * Assist providers during patient visits and communicate patient needs * Process co-pays and schedule follow-up appointments * Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms and front desk areas * Manage medical records, documentation, and patient communications * Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries * Support daily clinic operations including opening/closing duties ### Required Qualifications * **Medical Assistant certification is REQUIRED at time of hire** Accepted certifications include: * **CCMA** – Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (NHA) * **CMA** – Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA or CHP) * **RMA** – Registered Medical Assistant (AMT, AAH, or ARMA) * **NCMA** – National Certified Medical Assistant (NCCT) * **NRCMA** – Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NAHP) * **Basic Life Support (BLS)** (Amer
