You will assist in the operation of the Media Services Equipment room and provide audio-visual IT support for events, as well as contribute to audio-visual technical support for courses and modules. **_What you’ll be doing_** * Supporting students, staff and visiting professionals with the use of loaned technical equipment * Providing audio-visual technical support for events and conferences * Assisting with the loaning of media services equipment using the computerised booking system * Providing first line support in fixing faults (escalating to IT as required) * Providing front line technical support for specialist teaching spaces, including: TV Studio, Drama Studios, Podcasting Room, Edit Suites, ADR Room & Photography Studio You will also complete a structured apprenticeship programme, which may include off-the-job training and assessments. **_What we’re looking for_** We’re looking for someone who: * Is interested in AV and IT * Has a basic knowledge and understanding of AV or IT systems and/or equipment * Is organised, reliable and keen to learn * Is confident communicating with people at all levels * Is able to work well within a team * Is customer focused **About us** Regent’s University London is a private university right in the heart of Royal Regent’s Park.
